Time Travel & Session History
Accidentally closed an important tab? Loci automatically records snapshots of your workspace history so you can rewind back to any previous state in seconds.
1. Opening the Time Travel Timeline Drawer
Click the Time Travel (Clock) icon in your workspace header to open the timeline drawer:
How to Recover Work:
- Restore Entire Session: Click Restore Snapshot on any past point in time to return your workspace to that exact tab layout.
- Reopen Single Tabs: Expand any past timeline event to view individual closed web pages and reopen just the tab you need.
2. Daily Worklog Exports
Loci can record how much time you spend in each project workspace. Enable Daily Worklog Export in Settings to automatically download a daily summary file containing your productivity metrics.
3. Offline JSON Backups
Want a manual backup of your workspaces? Go to Settings -> Backup & Export to save all your workspaces, nested folders, notes, and preferences into a single backup file. You can import this file anytime to restore your setup on a new computer.
